Can't Get Battlefield 1942 To Connect

Hi

When go to play a mulitplayer game I go to the list and join the game but when ever it tries connecting to a sever it says "failed to connect to server". I don't think it is my firewall because I have zone alarm and I turned program control off. So could somebody help me Thank you very much.

simple question...is the game a genuine copy or one you downloaded?

what i really mean is do you have a genuine original serial key, or have you used one you "acquired" on the internet?

if it's a fake key, it's basically not gonna let you play online

I bought the game so it is genuine

make sure you have all the patches... when i bought it, it said the same thing until i got up to date w/ em.
