it's not like the 72 hr rule was all that hard

It depends of the size of the torrent. Especially at ftn there are some packs >100GB that I prefer to not keep for long.

Question: I leeched and seeded a torrent for over 4 days and it's still marked in red in my torrent history... Isn't to it supposed to be green now since I already seeded it well over 72 hours?

Red is Hit and run, pink is you didn't seed the required time(36 hours).
Sounds like after you downloaded it, you stopped the torrent.

Would love to have FTN to seed that 32H But, on-topic, 72H is maybe too much, it's a good improvement..
