    Well I think empornium is pretty old too, and filelist, I opened my acct there 2004-05....Karagarga is old too...but I think T-Bits was 1st??

    I was just browsing through my "Favorites" from 2003. I bookmarked the original TorrentBits on September 3, 2003, and as I recall, I was one of their early members. As you all know, TorrentBIts went down long ago and TorrentBits2 became Torrentbytes


    My TVTorrents bookmark is from September 19, 2003. TVTorrents is still alive and kicking, although back in 2003 itwas not a private tracker. I don't know if the guys running TVTorrents today are the same ones as 2003.

    Back in 2003, the best way to obtain .torrent files was from IRC servers, and the only bittorrent client was the one by Bram Cohen.

    If memory serves me correctly, it went down the latter end of 2004, as did SuprNova, UKF and Loki. Check the Slyck archives for the actual stories.
