Ok recent when i tried to play my video files i had no video only a gray screen, i have the latest K-lite codec pack installed and i watched those videos before in this same computer. Any idea of what could be wrong?

its not 1 movie, some are in mpg other in avi, i have tried WMP, Winamp 2.91 and BsPlayer

I had a similar problem but just with avi files, it turned out to be the codec settings for contrast had been set to 0. I know u can change codec settings in BSplayer, its in options somewhere

thanx ilw for some reason the contrast, birghtness, ect.. were all set to 0

I had a similar problem with a lot of anime that i had....i looked at the 4cc code and it said the video was mp42, but was trying to use mpg4...this should have worked, but it didn't...i uninstalled the k-lite codec pack, and then reinstalled without the modified mpeg4 codec, and it worked fine...

I always use Windows Media Player to play movies. You probably can't see the video because you need codecs. Get the codecs at http://www.k-lite.tk
