Hard Drive Problem!

Things arent running rite on the hard drive. What are the commands which you type in, in DOS to check the hard drive? Something like chdsk I cant remember sorry. Someone please help. Thanx

try using scandisk, the defrag your disk, you can get to them by right clicking the drive and going to properties and clicking on the tools tab.

Yeah it was chkdsk sorry you guys I remembered it in the end!
