I too was a bit-esc member I was told to be careful and in the last 3 days or so I have been having second thoughts, and this whole affair is for me the nail in the coffin.

Actually I have NEVER been asked for profile links. And Pablo never asked for Hungarian Trackers - invite either. Never to himself. These are facts.
Don't we just overkill here a little bi?I guess everybody concerned in this matter has to make up her/his mind. Simple as that. There are pro and con arguments to be considered.

this is true, what jeter says. Sometimes you need to know that this person is not brand new, and that they are not just wanting to join a seperate group just for the purpose of grabbing a whole bunch of invites for themselves.

I see great value and benefit in giving invites in a more private venue. For one thing, some trackers themselves say you cannot give away on open forums so in this regard you must follow their rules. Also, privacy like this allows you to better know the person and make sure they are honourable and will be a good member of the community. Membership is a privilege and needs to be treated properly. The open forum can be such a minefield. I see many many examples of people creating false accounts, and promising to use the invite for their personal use and then trade it away when it serves their purpose.

It is unfortunate that disrepute has come down on a group that came together for good reasons. But I still think the principle is a very good one, and of course, who should be considered as a member must first be established that they have good intentions. When you think about it, how else can we measure that someone is honest, sincere and trustworthy. One way is that they have been able to obtain membership in well-regarded sites. If they are a good standing member of a number of these decent sites, than this of course can be considered a good reference.

REally, when you think of it.....would you invite someone it to be part of an inner circle of high level/quality accounts and their claim to experience is a few months in at Demonoid!! (I can tease this way as I belong to this tracker too!!).

my two cents anyways....just so people do not get to hot under the collar because people need some background checks first!!

    Sorry if this is confusing...

Wow, I am so glad I left right after the BCC members left (was only a member for 1 day). I can't take all this drama.

Ok.. where does the truth lie? I thought sharing crews were for the fst community not for themselves? Now all these posts. Traders do give some great giveaways so we should all just be cool n stop tryin to hustle each other.. Are we not all a community here?

This is just a poser anti-trade "crew", trying to leech off of the success of others.

Believe me, in the real ones, we actually are anti-trade
