I'm backing up my DVDs to AVI format on my computer. Been using DVD squeeze. I've tried using two different types of encoding (DivX MPEG-4 fast motion and DivX MPEG 4 slow motion)and neither are very good quality.
Are any of these any better:
Cinepak Codec by Radius
Intel 4:2:0 Video V2.50
Intel Indeo® Video R3.2
Intel Indeo® Video 4.5
Intel IYUV codec
Microsoft RLE
Microsoft Video 1
There's more. Are any of these good, or would a different program be better to change my DVDs to AVIs?

DVD squeeze uses smart ripper and FlaskMPEG. From researching it some more, it looks like DVDtoAVi may be better than Flask.
I'm mostly wondering what decoder will give me the best picture.
