Thread: Keeping Width And Height In Tgmpeg?

  1. #1
My situation: I have the movie Wayne's World in AVI on my hard drive. It was encoded with DivX, it's 29fps, and is 640 (Width) by 352 (Height)

My Problem: I want to convert it to SVCD, I have TGMPEGenc Plus and the SVCD plugin. But, when I go to convert the AVI to MPEG2 SVCD, it takes the 640 x 352 video and "squishes" it into 480 x 480, and the result looks terrible and squeezed in.

My Question: How can I convert the video to SVCD and keep it in the same size, unsquished or squeezed?

If you are using the wizard go to other settings, then click on the tab Advanced , and change the video arrange method to full screen (keep aspect ratio).

    Thanks skillian!

Now I gotta try encoding faster. I tried encoding with FS and Keep Aspect, but the file is still encoding Soooooo slow it estimates an average of 100 hours to complete.

100 hours thats not normal it normally takes me bout 3 hours for a SVCD but it also depend on specs and Ram too oh well !! HAPPY ENCODING!!!!
