    Somewhere between 1000 to 1100 MB I think.

    1.07GB = (1.07*1024)MB = 1096MB

    Actually, it depends on whether you are asking someone who understands a little bit of computer science (and knows their exponents) or of you are asking someone who manufactures hard disks. Why?

    2nd gen noob is right:

    "1.07GB = (1.07*1024)MB = 1096MB"

    But he is talking computer language accurately, and hard drive manufactures speak an entirely different language=$profit; to them a megabyte is exactly 1,000,000 bytes, which is an exponential error. A megabyte is exactly 1,048,576 bytes. So multiply 1096*1,048,576 that is what you should have, if computer programmers were hard drive manufacturers. But they are not. What you actually have is 1096*1,000,000.

    By the way, 2nd gen noob, what are you studying as a major? I am curious. I am a student as well. B)
