@ihadyourmomlastnight: 2.10 doesnt have blocked IP ranges in it, you need to use peerguardian on that version.
upgrade to 2.4.1 and youll get the blocked IP ranges, its great!!!

i was just wondering. i m running 2.4.1 now but my old version 2.0.2 ran so much smoother and didn't freez at all. i miss it

but i don't want to sacrifice the security of 2.4.1 im running sygate with all the banned ip ranges put in the special rules (blocks them on all ports). and i have port 1214 disabled or watever the one kazaa uses is. i also update the banned ip ranges list that comes with Kazaa lite 2.4.1 once a week. i wonder if all this is enuff. let me know wat ya thinx! lata!

well, if you want to go back to 2.0.2 then you should make sure you disable port 1214 (by putting in options>k-lite options>firewall> and inserting the port number 2464 instead of 1214), this port (2464) seems to be the best yet, ive done some testing on it.
ohpe this will help you make up your mind
