I'm thinking of getting one of the systems for my boys for Xmas , does the PS3 play the old Play station games ? We have quite a collection of PS games and did n't really care for the XBOX other than Halo .


One of my buddies said he beat Halo 3 in under 12 hours and he sucks at games so still wondering what to do . Was reading about Mass Effect and the sweaty lesbian encounter but not worried as their both older ...... the boys I mean . The price seems kinda high for the Xbox games too over $68.00 cnd .

The PS3 does support PS1 and PS2 games but only the 80GB, 60GB, and 20GB models. The 40GB model offers NO backwards compatibility. Also, I reccommend using PayPal to buy a PS3, as you will get $50 in cash back on January 31 if you purchase by December 10th (offer only good at select PayPal stores). Also, your games should come down in price in Canada because your dollar is now worth as much as a U.S. dollar.

PS3 is most expensive. but have better graphic but have low games in comprasion witch xbox360

If you're going to get a ps3 for that reason, be sure to pick up either the 20 gig or 60 gig model, as the newer models have switched from hardware emulation to software.
