i would love a "serious debate" section, where nobody would go crying to admins and mods

i'm sick of seeing controversial topics closed because someone started whining

make it against the forum rules to register any member name related to the matrix, dragon ball z or marijuana, and that should immediately raise the maturity level.

I feel that there is a demand for such a " serious debate" section.

I also like the idea of a webcam forum; perhaps by incorporating "net meeting" or messenger.

May we poll the members for their opinion?

The subject that started this entire thread off has been re-opened.

It was closed while we consulted one another..however it will be closely monitored.

There already is a forum for serious debate on this board. We don't advertise it because you have to be stunningly condescending to be admitted entrance.

things are quiet until hitler decides he'd like to invade russia
so, he does
the russians are like "OMG WTF D00DZ, STOP TKING"
and the germans are still like "omg ph34r n00bz"
the russians fall back, all the way to moscow
and then they all begin h4xing, which brings on the russian winter
the germans are like "wtf, h4x"

That is a wise decision. A step in the right direction, however there are many more steps to follow. I realise that the distance is to great to jump in one go.

You point out that you will be closely monitoring it and possibly even go so far as to delete parts of it. That is what many want less of. We are not home yet.

In Holland they say "We have to row with the oars that we have." That is applicable in this case but I would still wish to see an adult section created with a "log in" requirment.
