Thread: If I Download Centropy Stuff Can I...

    if i download centropy can i just burn the cues and bins and is it already SVCD so i can just watch it on my DVD player and is it possible for SVCD to be converted to VCD?

    Yes. All you have to do is burn the bin.cue to a CDR. It's already in the SVCD format. But check if your DVD player supports SVCD first.

    or you could just use daemon tools, mount the bin file, and watch it on your pc, w/o even extracting the mpeg file.

    ya im pretty sure it is, with tmpgenc, and vcdeasy, i imagine you could, though i dont know the specifics, as i am just getting into encoding, and what not.

    yes you can, but you'll quality loss will be noticeable. but if you can live with that, just do it and watch it on your dvd player. if not, buy a player that supports SVCD.

    Can u convert SVCD to DVD assuming thats what u need to do to burn it 2 DVDR

    Just use VCD GEAR to convert SVCD to VCD.takes about one minute to convert.

    are you sure it's a whole minute? i thought it was more like 30 seconds.
