yea.. i think microsoft Rushed into releaseing that edition before the year 2000.. lol Windows 2000 was actually released earlier i think, but it had even more stuff.. Why did they make 2 at once..rofl

2000 is great.
XP is also great, but your computer is not.
So what is your decision?

Any windows o/s has errors lol.. .. it's a killar
u just need to get the one that runs best.. i suggest 2000 if your not a gamer.
Xp can be configured to run faster also.. all those visual themes and stuff arnt needed.

in my opinion if you have little harddisk space and little memory us win98se..
It's the most stable olde version...
If your pc is p3 550 or better, enough harddiskspace and at least 256 ram (512 is much better) then you can consider 2000 or XP. Both are very stable but for a home pc XP has the advantage of having more fun features and better for games.
If you wanna know more about an Operating system, install it. That's the only way to find out if it works nice on your pc. XP has pretty good help functionality and other wis buy a Dummies book (this is no joke they're great for starters!
