More on that link, apparently the popup destroyed one of my network adaptors ??
After rebuilding the OS's I still had page lockups and couldn't connect or complete downloads. DHCP worked randomly or not at all.
Have now replaced both cards with a new one and no more problems. Maybe just coincidence but it began with that 1 popup somehow.
Prove it!
