Same here more or less..if one experiments one will find the best upload speed that allows the fastest download speed...I had noticed too that other clients when I slow my upload speed, tend to speed up...the best upload speed I found was 32 KBs, that always seemed to speed up my download to maximum..

Between UKNova, Filelist, Pisexy, Demonoid and public trackers I can get pretty much what I want. Tho' to be honest I always try Usenet first and use that where possible.
Here is my current speed on the only torrent I'm getting at the moment:
