Thread: Burning Games

    OK.
I have never burnt a game before.
    I'm still trying.
    I downloaded Civilization 3.
I unzipped it into a folder.
I got an ACE file, the Install EXE file, a DIZ file, and a whole bunch of other files numbering from C00-C62.

So I ran the Install Application file.
I installed the files into another folder.
All the civilization files were there.
I doubleclicked the EXE file for the game.
It told me to insert the CD ROM.

I do not have a CD ROM
Do I need to create one?
If so What should I enter into NERO?

I also have a few files for sim city4
It's simcity 4 cd 1 and cd 2 files, but I have no idea how to burn them with nero.
    They are EXE files.
Nero is asking for ISO or CUE.

for zivilisation 3 you need a no-cd patch(search klite or google), read the read file(nirmaly within) to know how it works.
    to sims:
open nero burning rom->wizard->create new cd->create new data cd->
file browser(find you file there)->right click on .exe file(or/and another file)->copy
    ->iso1 window->right click on it->paste
->click on right 8th icon on the top(open the write cd dialog)->burn.
    good luck!

you need a program called deamon tools. it's a virtual cd rom. you load the game in deamon and it acts like you put a cd in a cd-rom. www.deamon-tools.com

if you get a .bin and a .cue file you need to burn both cos the .cue file "yells" the burning program how to burn the .bin file.
