if bittorent is supposed to resume.....how come mine started back at 0%?

i also dont know how to resume downloads. i had couple of hours left for the t3 and my comp froze. how do i fix this.

When you re-open the torrent file it will ask you where to save it. Make sure you select the exact same folder you saved it in the first time.
Basically what scribblec said.

the new experemental client by shadow has a pause button and is oh so useful

i did....it said check previous files or something like that and went to 0%

Did you also save the original .torrent file to your computer?
Cause when I first started, I didn't and had to go to the website and re-open the torrent from there. If you are doing this then maybe you are getting the wrong copy of the file you are searching for.
This would cause it to start over cause it isn't the exact same file.
Otherwise I have no idea. I haven't had this happen to me.

This is why I ahte bitorretn being 56k user u have to babysit it which means every time ur damm ISP logs u out u have to re click the file again to resume download which sux!! at least with kazaa it was easy it would resume when u have auto dial on I would like to go to bed and wake up and have it stil running
