I might need help

Im thinking about using newsgroups but have no idea how to use them as im a complete noob at it. What im after is what would be the best one for me to get. I wouldnt want to spend no more than £15.00-£20.00 a month and is it safe using a credit card? I was reading the stickings to try to get a sort of an idea what newsgroups are about but it will take a while to sink in. Is there any video tuts on how this all works as I find to learn alot quicker when I see it being done or can anyone do a video tut on how it all works. Not the best retention in the world but excellent for the price (US$13.95/month) and first month only 95cents. I pay them with creditcard it is perfectly safe. Infact I would use nothing other than a creditcard for online money transfers.

Take a read of http://www.slyck.com/ng.php that is where I first leant about usenet many years ago. Has most of the basics covered.

I would suggest Astraweb because they have a European server (would be useful since your from Ireland) and use newsbin pro for the download app, if you read the newsbin wiki and slycks guide you should be well on your way, then use binsearch.info for searching.
