my uni caps down up at 350/120 MB/hr so I try to keep it constantly leeching
usually end up with a little over 3 gb/day.

My (ISP) traffic statistics tell me that my average download over the last year amounts to 235 GB per month on average. Take away what's normal traffic and I'm between 5 and 7 GB per day.
That's more than enough though, there are still so many movies I've still got to watch and I only manage to download this much because I'm talking about DVDR or HD releases and not small DVDRips.
