Ps3 Hack Anyone?

I heard a few bluray backups worked on the launch firmware without any mods at all, I am not sure if it was true at all but I am sure that the firmware updates would have fixed it if it was.

he's obviously got something going on ! like the X360 the PS3 will be difficult to mod beyond FIRMWARE interventions ! see what the future geniuses bring !

I swear there is a way to play backed up PS3 games on a PS3. I saw it somewhere on this site.

Sure... you could mod the ps3 the day it came out. But not to play backups. That was for installing a new harddrive and linux.

There have been no releases for firmware hacks/modchips/or any other method of playing backups.

PS3 mod chip don't exist just in dreams !
though hackers have managed to hack the firmware so the PS3 would be able to run certain copied blu-ray games ! but that is basically it for the near future !!

I have one friend of a friend who had his modded the day after the ps3 released. It's all about knowing people who can do that kind of stuff though

I have a friend who knows all about this stuff too and he modded his dog and has got it playing wii, ps3 and xbox 360 games... and its also a toaster.
