We only ban ip ranges if we keep getting problems from within that range, and if you are in the same range as the user who is the reason for the ban.
It is just bad luck, sorry but we rather keep out 1 good user, than having 1 bad in....

Sounds like you could be banning several good users by banning a range of IP's.

and if that 2 kids start ddos using proxies from other countries they will probably ban whole 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255 range just in case
just joking, but that reveals weak spot for scc, that competition or some agency can exploit easy way.
