Yet Another Xp Problemo

i hav win xp pro and its been alright for a few months but now i turn it on and it logs me in and then logs me straight out how can i avoid this problemo?

I know you said XP logs you straight back out, but is your screen saver password protected by chance?
If not, i've no idea what it could be.

might have to reinstall xp.. sounds like a major glitch. I had the same problem in Windows 2000 once.. dunno why

The only thing I know of that might stop that is deleting the SAM in system32/config.
Maybe with no active accounts in the data base you could create a new one.
I've had the problem as well but just wiped the system and reloaded.
