    When ever I go on the internet (Dialup) it logs me in and this isnt my computer

    Not too sure what your problem is. But you could ask the owner too either create a user account for you or get them to activate the guet account and use that.

    goto run> type services.msc, now scroll through the list to "Messenger"
    double click, disable it.. click apply.

    the problem is it isnt my computer...its a nice one though, 2.53GHz, mine is a 633...

    Actually, he has good reason to be confused. The version of MSN Messenger bundled with XP is a trimmed-down version of the real MSN Messenger, and can even be installed alongside of the real thing.

    your user name has been apllied to the user.
    go to control panel>user accounts> click the apropriate user>change my .net passport.

    is it possible to make it so it wont sign in at all?

    or just change some setting in windows messenger, so not to auto start with windows and also not to auomatically sign in

    I dont think she will be using msn anyway so that will work. Thanks for the help
