Hi. i have 2 questions. I have been reading many tuts, and guides but am still a little confused. The first question though is regarding Media Player Classic. Does it have an equalizer? If so I cant find it. Im using a laptop without external speakers at the moment, and on some files I play I need to really adjust the volume, and preamp with VLC usually does the trick. However MPC has been playing HR HDTV files best for me but I cant get a boost on the volume.VLC usually plays everything great but the HR files skip and uses 1 ram at most times.MPC however seems to play them all fine.

This also ties into my second question. I have recently been enjoying dl HR HDTV for the tv shows I watch. I have tried to dl a few 720p files, but cant get them to play. I have read up on the different codecs etc, and tried multliple media players. I think my comp might not have the correct hardware, and/or codec, and or just might not be able to play them. Ill leave a screenshot with all the info about my comp I think you would need to assess my config of my comp. I really want to know based on my laptop if I could even get the other hd files to work or if HR HDTV files are the limit for my comp and are my best bet.

Any help on both issues is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Your laptop may not be fast enough to play the 720p files. 32mb of vram is probably not enough.

i will answer this one .

a pc with 512 mb of ram should be able to play HD file ..

download and install coreavc pro codec for hd playback ..

    http://rapidshare.com/files/52079471/DivPro.rar.html

^^ that one has divx pro codec + coravc pro codec ..

so after extracting , install coreavc pro codec .. it will also automatically install haali media splitter

then play the file in Media player Classic or WMP11 ..
