Yes it works great and will upgrade a large part of win9x so you can use other programs like text to speach.

Thats interesting. Sounds like an oximoron: office "xp" on windows 98.......................lol. Anyway I never knew that. Cool

Actually, the name XP doesn't mean much. XP is really NT 5.1, just as 2000 is NT 5. Longhorn will most definitly be NT 6, although with a new file-system, it may be completely different.
Office XP is really Office 2002, but you're right, it makes even less sense than before. I usually like to keep version numbers the same, but with Microsoft's crap, you really can't.
