Thread: Whats The Defualt Start Up Options

    I though I will have a go at changing the startup options, but now on boot up, my fdd or cdrom wont load, as its doinf the memory test you press F1 and it comes up with the 'start up options' What is the defualt options? so my fdd and cdrom will loads, cos i cant boot form them now.

    i have mine set as hdd>cd rom>floppy when u have win xp
    and on my other which has win me i have it as hdd>floppy>cdrom.
    and when i wanna boot to floppy i just disable the first option,. then re-enable when finished, then it boots up quicker as it aint going everwhere looking for a boot record

    SO SAY I WANT TO BOOT FORM a cd rom i jsut disable all the rest.

    or just change the first one to whatever you want to boot from. it'll probably be easyer that way

    You could always reset the Bios to default setting from within Bios.

    Okay I keep seeing all this about changing your bios. And I was wondering how to get into my bios to do these things?



    EDIT:Also how to get back from the bios
