Thread: Making A Vcd

1. #1
question from a thicky!
i am trying to burn a disk, it is a avi file. i am using nero to convert it to vcd, however after it has converted it, nero says there is not enough room on the disk.
Is there a way to make it fit?
are disks available with more than 700 mb?
any help would be much appreciated

The average movie will take up more than one CD-R. Even with a larger capacity cd-r.

try searching through the "newbie" links and guides at the site recomended above...its a brilliant starting point. if (when) you start to have problems, have a look around there, and if you can't find what you want over there, ask here (after searching here)....I don't generally ask there, cos a lot of people are disagreeable...not like the nice peeps here

I'm pretty sure that you can set it to cut off at at 700mb
(at least you can on win producer)

But if you are converting avi files most of them are already in two parts.

This is a good place to find answers and software
Divx Digest

good luck...
