I HEARD THAT THE PEOPLE THAT DOWN LOAD MUSIC FOR FREE ARE GOING TO BE SUED. IS THIS TRUE? CAN WE BE SUED FOR DOWN LOADING FREE MUSIC? AND IF THIS IS TRUE , WHAT SHOULD WE DO?

Right now the RIAA is more concerned with people who freely upload "substantial" numbers of songs recorded by music artists that are members of the Recording Industry of Association of America. Of course, http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,128...2,57048,00.html they are busy right now protecting their own networks due to multiple attacks on their own Website....

As far as i know you cannot be sued for downloading music, but you can for uploading, this is the reason so many people dont share. They are so scared they will get caught by the RIAA but they will not. Just select the opition not to let people see all your files but DO let them download from you.

Also get Peer Guardian to protect yourself from many companys that are trying to look into the files you are sharing get Peer Guardian from http://www.methlabs.org then download the latest list of IPs and copy and paste them into the Guarding.P2P file and then it will work .
