    I got the car real cheap

    Went to an auction and got it for £1450!!!!
    All it needed was 2 new tyres ( got those from the scrappy for £25 each) and a new bulb for the back break light ( £2). Got the MOT done this morning as well. The whole thing, including the purchase of the tyres, the fitting of them and the MOT was just under a £100.

    The guy from the garage said I could easily sell it on for about £3K.

    I was going to drive it at Christmas, but we've decided to take my pal's car.
    His is a diesel and it'll be cheaper on the petrol than mine
