Both are good. But people are into torrenting mainly for downloads, film etc. Community should be close second. But this is my guess.

Tbh, I personally along with alot of other people do not care who you think is better. FTN was created for several reasons. And none of them was to be "WE ARE THE BEST" blah blah. It was purely created for a small userbase to download their releases at a good speed with decent pretimes & have a decent community, The place has developed all this FTN reached its original goal.
Over at FTN you have a site that actually listens to its users and isnt a faceless nazi controlled pay to leech site (and no im not having a pop at ScT, Im on about big sites).
Some of you like FTN others dont, no big deal its personal choice. Im not gonna stoop low to blatantly slag another tracker off i mean WTF is the point ?
If you want the best pretimes, get a topsite, If not its your choice where you wanna download.

But at the end of the day, the answer to the question could be either the feeling of being "chosen", snobbery, or one just really has a thirst to be part of an obviously fantastic Community, like FTN. Because there ain't much of a difference contentwise among FTN, SCT and say, TL, SCC.

They are both good sites, although FTN is more user friendly due to ratio friendliness. There are a lot of users with seedboxes on SCT, which makes it difficult to seed for those with limited upstream bandwith. Since bittorrent is all about sharing, being able to consistently download makes FTN an overall better community.
