I've found that using that can mess up the file - if I check the file at 3 minutes into the movie, sometimes it makes it so whenever I watch it again it freezes at that point in time. Anyone else had this problem?
No, its not related.

why does everyone hate klite for movies? If the dvd has been out for a while there are bound to be tons of sources on your supernode, and you can get pretty high download speeds. For the new stuff, I guess Bittorrent is good, but the bandwidth usage is unregulated, so it slows down your connection quite a bit.
Between 1/3 and 1/2 of the movies I download are fakes. If I'm lucky i can catch them early with AVI Preview, but I've found that using that can mess up the file - if I check the file at 3 minutes into the movie, sometimes it makes it so whenever I watch it again it freezes at that point in time. Yeah that's some sort of bug that once you have the wholoe film it plays only to the point you viewed it the first time while downloading. . once you download the movie you might as well use windows media player, bsplayer, real or something else because avi preview takes awhile to generate the film and audio anyway.

IRC = Best quality
IRC = QQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ
IRC = Awesome speed that you will NEVER NEVER NEVER get on kazaa. I have gone over 600 Kb/s for a long period of time. And IRC = VCD/Dvdrip/SVCD quality while new movies on kazaa = TMD

IRC doesn't have that many hackers as you think.
Now a lot of the users are teenagers rather then college students.

IRC has grown to become very popular for its latest and fastest stuff.

War scripts?

I would rather use News Groups which gives me the better speed, better than IRC. As for releases, well even Slyck shows where the best places to get stuff is...

Music
1. WinMX 2. Piolet 3. FastTrack 4. SoulSeek
Movies
1. eMule 2. Newsgroups 3. FastTrack 4. IRC
Games
1. Newsgroups 2. eMule 3. IRC 4. DirectConnect
Programs
1. Newsgroups 2. eMule 3. IRC 4. DirectConnect

I will say for new releases they are close, though older stuff may be better on IRC. Though I have no Q with NewsGroups, find and download.

/server irc.addictz.net

/msg nickserv register password

/msg nickserv identify password

/join datavault

It is a registered channel so you need to register your nick to enter.
The /msg nickserv commands will take care of that.

You will need to type /msg nickserv identify Yourpassword everytime you go into that channel though.

The bots there are awesome.
Each bot 1000+ upload speed

One bot there has upload speed of 12,000Kb/s
which is awesome.

VERY VERY fast bots, best quality stuff.

You really don't understand IRC do you? IRC is a place where you get the latest stuff. All other p2p get their stuff FROM IRC.
You cannot beat their fast speeds and latest stuff at the best quality.

You will never understand unless you try for yourself.

Music - Use p2p.
Because in IRC they won't have music files. They will have the whole album zipped into a .tar file. Or they will have all the video songs.
