Out of order
I'm no expert, but you would prob be able to copy the dvd image to your hdd, much like nero can do with cd images.
The only difference being that the image of the dvd would take up lotsmore space on your hdd than a cd... obviously.

Out of order
I was assuming that the reading of the dvd would happen after neotheone purchased his dvd burner, and that would be used to make the image, as well as burning the copy.
Much like a pc with a cd burner but no second cd rom drive.
Sorry, should've said that in my original post.. my bad.
(edit) even more clarification

nero and such can copy Disks even if you only got 1 burner drive... put the source in... it copys that to your hd temporarly.. then put in the blank disk.. copies it to that... simple.
2 drives would prob be faster.. but u dont Have to do it that way
