What Is The Best Bittorent Version?

I keep hearing people say that they download faster from one version of bittorent than others. Is this true? Is one version of bittorent faster than the others? If so, give me link. If you can't post it, pm me it.

There are only two bittorrent versions, the regular one, and the experimental client. IMO, no real difference between the two. The speed is the same.

There are actually quite a few hybrid torrent clients out there.

Normal Bittorrent client
Experimental Client
a new experimental client 5.2
Burst R1, R2 and the one i use R3
Azureus is a java bittorrent client
Bit++
and jerk but no one that i know of uses this as it lets you download without uploading anything.

most of these are pretty easy to find just go to www.filesoup.com and you will find links for them there apart from jerk as i think they are trying to get this client banned.

I tried burst for a while and then went back to the experimental client.

See, i thought that all i had was shareaza and the original Bit torrent to download with... but then research always pays because i found quite a few. I have had differences in speeds using different bt clients, but i have never downloaded one particular file say twice, just to check the speed of the client that i was using..

Maybe someone should do that.....
