why don't you start with seeding your movies to an exisiting tracker like kg, goem, cinemageddon, cinematik or basically any tracker that has older movies.

you don't neccesarily have to start your own community. if you have a lot of movies to share, any tracker community will be thankful. even demonoid - ok, maybe not demonoid

Just getting opinions here and thanks in advance.
yes .. i am sure it will be successfull .. right now i have to use various trackers to search for old xvids .. which includes public trackers and some movie specialised trackers like goem,x264.eu,KG

but you will have to implement some kind of karma system or share ratio system like FSC to keep old stuff seeded .. !

thats the only tracker i know for xvids of dvdrips and HDrips. it has a decent collection too.

Goem is a top notch site for xvid.
A lot of fantastic things get uploaded there every day.
They also do a lot of cool things with freeleech.
It's very good and very underrated.
yup .. but goem is very slow ..

if you want a good movie database, demonoid and bitsoup could also be considered. they have a pretty decent collection i believe.

demonoid usually has the movies taht you cant find anywhere else. otherwise you could try cinema-obscura, and kg. other than that, i dont know.

as for seeding lots of movies. get yourself verizon fios, a 1 terabyte hard disk (firewire or internal), and hook yourself up to a tracker. you possibly couldnt seed all the movies at one time.

it doesnt matter if your speed is slow; it only matters how much you share. even if you had 100mbit or so, not many of us rent seedboxes and not many of us could max out your b/w.

other than that, it is up to you.
