i'd worry that your Anti-Virus Software hadn't dealt with those already, i've always thought a virus scan was to catch any that slipped under the radar, but 551 files? The very few times i've encountered a virus it's been quarantined and dealt with right away.

hang on: 543 cleaned + 7 deleted, doesn't = 551 infected

well after you replace it scan it again cause it may have already infected other files.plus warn everyone in your email lists cause they are likely infected too

When I run a scan it checks over 200,000 files.

Either you don't have much on your system, or it's not checking very deep.
