    thats where I got 90% of my music and get new releases spread quick on there

    always found it better then oink .. it was a pain in the ass to get a ratio up on oink.. the bad thing is I dunno where im gonna get some aussie albums now

    Sanjana, let me make this clear. Downloading stuff is legally via purchase through credit card or something else is known as a "digital download". That's legal. But when you download something that is not acquired through payment but has copyright laws is ILLEGAL and the law has full authority to get you punished for that. In the case of OiNK, VIPMusic, etc, it is illegal because you're downloading music/apps/etc. instead of paying for it. Get the point?

    Oink was a great place for music lovers, one of the greatest trackers ever.

    I hope that if the owner will go to trial they will publish it. I'm sure that many people will help by donating money to pay for his legal assistance\lawyers.

    This is sad, sad news indeed. I can't believe it.
