Thread: Looks like STMusic is the best

  1. #41
Multiple users is going to do nothing but put the site on the radar to be nabbed. I would have liked to see them handle the oink situation better.

    STMusic FTW.

Its where all the old Oinkers are heading to.

STmusic definately needs some improvements to their site design. The site has potential, but they need to get it together if they want to keep a lot of the new members.

    Surprised nobody else posted this..

Kennedy and his piracy team is keeping mum on which other private trackers -- with such names as TranceTraffic, Exig[oh], VIP Music, stmusic, shareaza.com and Pedro's BT Music-are also in the IFPI's cross-hairs. "We expect [OiNK] users will start to migrate to some of these sites over the next few days. We are watching their movements," an IFPI spokesman says. "It's a case of 'watch this space.' "
Congrats on being the new target
Do not pm me for invites. At the moment I will not be participating here in that regard. I will ignore your pm.

Whoa, so much happening lately: our CTO (Chief Technical Officer is still missing since September), Oink went down recently and VIPmusic was mentioned in the article at billboard.com as in "the IFPI's cross-hairs". Due to the fact that our CTO is still out of reach (more about our fears in the corresponding thread) we might suspend the operations. There are few things that I'd like to make clear: server HDD's are encrypted with AES and are locked out (only our CTO had access to the server because of security concerns) that is why user database would not be accessible to any third parties. Also unused donations will be sent to EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) which is fighting for free speech rights on the internet.

    Thanks B,
I think FST is being monitored and so is the WIAW thread,
already /delacct.php on stmusic too risky, as for the others I think I'll be relatively safe since they've completely closed signups.
///EDIT: I'm Back!! (Thanks for the headup !!)

Well, if you want honesty.. Chances are they're already there. Oink was apparently a 2 yr investigation, I wouldn't doubt these people signed up on every one of the sites listed as well as any other possible targets. Just because those other sties closed signups AFTER oink was busted, doesn't mean these other sites weren't already under investigation and therefore already compromised.

AWWW crap Do you think they've infiltrated FTN, TT, BMTV etc?

If they've been investigating all these sites for a long time now, there's no point in locking out those sites since the oldest most or least active tracker member can be a spy watching the inner workings of the site, closing the signups thru invites etc. will just lock them in.

I'm sure ScT has 10% userbase from RIAA,MPAA, and IFPD since so many accs, are sold and traded daily. And they can be the best oldest most charismatic members.

    Great. Now I'm super paranoid.

LET'S GET RID OF THE WIAW THREAD TO TAKE ALL SITES OFF THE RADAR!!!!
