    Lot of trackers have these Java chat applet that opens irc in browser itself. But whenever I open the irc chat applet in firefox, it gives me a problem and closes firefox. Has anyone else experience this and do you have any solution for this problem.
    I tried to google it but got lot of not useful links and I dont want to mess up my firefox

    Install the latest version of firefox along with the latest version of JRE and everything will be fine!

    or just use chatzilla (firefox ext) instead

    Thanks guys. My firefox was upto date and I updated the JRE but the problem is still there

    i hate these things, i find it so much more reliable and easy to just use irc itself.

    The only way it works right now is when I open in IE tab of firefox
