What is an exchange server? Is it a pop/smtp server, like the one I use?

Its a major mail server desiigned specifically for windows server o.s. Winodows 2000 server and windows 2003 server. It takes about 3 hours to install because it integrates itself into all the domain and organizational units. It has a ton of features. The new itaninium server has a brand new polished web interface with a calender and a bunch of other stuff for outlook users. Its really not needed unless you have at least one domain controller and a lot of users on your domain.

Thanks for the info. I can't see the logic in getting that. If you're big enough to need it, you're probably big enough where your better off buying it.
