I believe most do free-leech and/or double upload, hand out invites, promote various activities ie. Design Christmas stuff..and have fun competitions.

I don't really care about the freeleech and the extra upload, since around Christmas all the good games were already released and my disks will be full anyway. Though it's a nice time, building the ratio back up is easier during the holidays!
Besides nobody but the staff on the sites knows if there will be freeleech or not!
