i saw them in the amsterdam arena just a couple a weeks back....

was nothing compaired with Willy Deville that i saw just after that

The difference is show and music.... i like music more then show

the late sixties was the start of some of the greatest dude
Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Doors, Hendrix, Clapton, Beck, etc etc
and that's just for rock

I'm sure some of the soul/R&B lovers would shoot you for saying that

what with Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, etc etc

in the 60's and 70's bands actually played

I heartly disagree. I think music is coming more alive than ever right now, with all that technological innovation brings to it. And even in a classic sense, there are some sweet bands with original sounds like Secret Machines and The Arcade Fire that are turning out brilliant albums.
