Man have you been livin under a rock or something? Get off this site for a few hours a go to allmusic.com and look for alice in chains then click on grunge for a genre map. have you ever heard of mother love bone, tad, green river, mudhoney or sponge? No then listen to them also. Grunge bands who didn't have the success of AIC, soundgarden, stp, etc.
