take the files to an external hard drive,
    format,
put the files back again where your client normally download the files

go to your tracker and load the torrents, it wont download them again. it will just seed them.

and if they are only a few files, then dont worry, i can forgive u for not seeding them. there should be someone else to seed them.

    good luck.

copy the files u downloaded, in case u use utorrent, it puts them in My Documents/Downloads

copy the directory downloads to and exteranl hard drive.

    format your computer
    install your client
copy the directory downloads from your external hard drive to your "My Documents" directory
go to the site u downloaded the torrents from,
and just download the torrents, as u are downloading them new
when they open in utorrent, it wont download them, as u already have them
it will check that u have them, (this takes some time, so do it once at a time) (if u have crap pc, it may break lol)
and when u finish, u are finished, utorrent will seed them

and if u dont understand, PM skizo, he can explain it better.

you should also try to set your hard drive into partitions, makes it easier to backup files for me
