Thread: USB Sticks

  1. #1
Recently my college gave every student a USB stick, which is mighty generous of them. But every single time you plug the stick in, it instantly loads up a Marcomedia Flash file with college details on in full window mode. I was wondering if there was a way to stop this from happening. The file is not visible on the drive, I assume this is because the drive has been split and one partion is kept hidden, which is evident from when you safely remove it you remove both drive G and H.

So if anybody knows how to make that hidden partion visible or to stop the file from running at all upon attachment, it would be greatly appreciated if you shared.

Did you try formatting the drive?
Also I believe almost any partition software will allow you to delete the partition you might want to try starting here
