Control Panel -> Network Connections

Then right-click on your Internet connection -> select Properties -> Advanced Tab -> deselect 'Internet Connection Firewall'

I have 512/256 dsl, do those settings look ok ?
I have my xp firewall off, and i have zone alarm running, well am i doing everything ok ?

You need to cofig yuor firewall/router. Click the "Yellow" button.

Ok i have xp firewall off, and i am running the free version of zone alarm, how do i get rid of the yellow light? i dont know how to open close ports btw ! DAM i hate that yellow light now

hi everyone
i am not sure this is the right place to post this
but
i have recently downloaded a file successfully using bit torrent and for the last 2 nights it has been stuck at 99% however tonight i cannot connect at all does that mean everybody has downloaded and now stopped and that i cannot finish the file.
please help as i only have a little bit left to finish off.

hi..all was just looking and figuring out how to use the bit torrent ya all were talkin about but to no results..i just cant find out a way how to use it... i read the frequently asked questions page but couldnt find my answers...well u c i ddl bit torrent 3.3 and then after installing it just doesnt pop up anything..all i have is a please donate website..unlike kazaa they have a window opennin up tellin u u are connected but u c thiz situation itz completely different...after installing nuthin appears on my screen and i dunno where the hell itz vanished to...just wondering how to use it..any help...please teach me from scratch..thanx...

all you need to do is goto a torrent site, the most popular is suprnova but plenty to choose from have a look here -lots of sites

I would also recommend shadows client as its the best standalone client -het shadow's here
