Should i use the old utorrent or the new one?

I just down graded back to 1.6.1 all trackers seem to expect it.

can u tell me one major tracker that banned newest version of utorrent..im talking abouth 1.7.5??

im using pretty much every major site and non of them i havent see ban for 175

utorrent 1.7.5 is allowed on almost every tracker i only know that digital hive is bloking them(staff there are really paranoid)

1.6.1 (490) is probably the only uTorrent allowed on all private trackers, at least there has never been an issue with this version unlike many others. There has been much confusion about the 1.7.x versions out there because some trackers at first didn't want to allow them but that changed later on. The best 1.7 version to use is probably 1.7.5

About the 1.8 betas: as far as I know only HDBits is allowing them at the moment but then I'm not in the business of reading news each day on all trackers I'm registered on

What i don't understand is TL is saying this....

a)MAKE SURE YOU USE THE LATEST VERSION OF YOUR TORRENT CLIENT(we highly recommend utorrent (www.utorrent.com) and
b)MAKE SURE THAT DHT/PEER EXCHANGE/LOCAL PEER DISCOVERY and so on and so on are DISABLED in your clients.
