the majority of folk's have voted YES they want a sports world... u can't ignore us forever...

I don't care one way or the other, but if it takes these silly 'who's the best/worst sports man/woman/team/dog' threads off the main floor of the lounge then go for it.

the majority of people who have bothered to vote (all 30 of them) , have wanted some sort of place to put sports posts. Probably just because people are spamming the lounge constantly with them at the moment. I reckon a sportsworld would be even quieter than bookworld,

Edit: and when the title says "petition for sportsworld" its hardly likely to attract the people who don't want it to vote

Good idea, i think the mods should give a weeks trial, and if it turns out shit then by all means close it down.. a weeks trial that's not 2 much 2 ask..

A week is too short for a reasonable experiment. Make it a month, and make it a month when there is Premiership and Italian Football. This will mean a lot more posts!!
