I received a .pps file, which has this great .wav file in it.
I'd like to get it out, but I don't see any options to do that.
Anyone know if it's possible and, if so, how?

If you can't find or separate the actual sound file, try total recorder pro. It will record any thing straight from the sound card. Then you can encode to whatever you like.

Well, the thing is, I can SEE the .wav file in Slideshow/slide transition, but I can't get it out.
I figured there would be an 'export' function in PowerPoint, but I guess I'm wrong.

Can you open it in something like winrar and extract it from there? I don't have any .ppp's saved at the moment so I'm not sure what you're looking at. Some archiving tool should be able to access it though.

Email the ppt file to me at [email protected] and I'll see what I can do.

Do you have a fast connection chalkmongoose?
I removed all the slides I could, leaving just two, but it's still 1.23MB.
Is that a problem for you?

I dont think winrar will open. If you want to test just create a blank, insert a wave file and then save as *.pps.

True.
I tried that. Didn't work.
I also d/L a proggy of the net that said it could do it, but it didn't work on any of my .pps files.
