It should be closer to $14 or $15.
lol god what country are you refering to its $30 here
and $10 jsut for a single
What fucking country are you in? Here in the US, new disks are $11.99 plus tax, and most of them come with a DVD bonus disk. Stop bitching about the prices. The prices aren't the problem, the quality of music has dropped considerably over the years.

Today I turned into a leech. I used to be sharing about 1500 files, almost all copyrighted music etc. I never shared movies, because I always hated the quality and I thought you get a good deal when you buy a DVD (at least in the US where some are 10-15 dollars) I had peerguardian, kazaa lite new version, all the precautions. But it wasn't enough.
I really hate what I am doing but I feel like I must to protect my sensitive ass from being
There is a reasonable alternative with as many security measures as KL++ v2.4.1 has:
1.Turn off the ability for others to list your shared files (you're still sharing, they just can't easily gather LISTS of what you're sharing)
2.DISABLE ip port 1214 in KL++ and use a random port from 2000-65000.
3.Turn on the BLOCK RIAA ip addresses
Then you become VERY hard to find for RIAA. IF they DO find you, they've probably done something illegal themselves.

switeck, those measures you just mentioned are a joke when it comes to "security"...
1. Listing your files or not, all they have to do is find one file you share, start downloading, and get your ip...
2. The ports mean nothing... using the above tatic.
3. Blocking lists only block known addresses, thats not going to work forever.
Mr.Blunt... downloading is just as illegal as sharing... i dunno where you picked up your knowledge of the law. The main reason they go after sharing folks, is because its pretty damn hard to get the ones who only download/leech. I.E. they would have to set up bait files, and hope that you download from them... where its much easier just to get people who share.
And most cd prices arent that bad, at least when they are first released. Most cds go from 9.99-12.99 as new releases, which managable, if the music werent shit... which most of it is. Ill pay that $$ for a cd with 4-5 good tunes on it... not for one cd with one good track.

1. It will however prevent them from listing ALL your files. But if their search was broad enough might turn up more than 1 of your files...
2. and 3. True, if they're going for specific files you could still be found IF they're working from a non-blocked ip range. Actually, if their searches are from a blocked ip range but they themselves aren't the supernode that is directly connected to your computer then there may never BE an ip-to-ip link to the 'hostile' ip range.
